Until I started following a routine to eat, my gains were minimal. Once I set my eating times to a specific time during the day along with a protein boost, I could see the gains immediately. This sample program is a quick way to get your protein WAY up and generally increase your food intake. But it doesn't require the traditional sit down 6+ a day to eat 30 chicken breasts and spend all day cooking. I've got a full-time job at a corporate office. Cooking isn't an option. Nor is eating 6+ times a day involving meals with Tupperware...

The Best Protein Powder

What is the best protein powder to buy? I get this question all the time, and really, there is no best protein - many are very good for different reasons! In my opinion, it is futile and possibly detrimental to stick to only one brand for the following reasons: a) I always recommend that you cycle your supplements so that your body does not get used to them thereby decreasing their effect, b) for variety sakes alone, it breaks the monotony and allows you to try different brands, c) to take advantage of the unique qualities offered by various brands,...

I swear, it seems as if there are more opinions regarding fat loss than there are people. It's amazing. What's even more amazing (and frustrating), is that most of them are wrong, if not downright dangerous. There is just way too much information for you to even get started with a successful program, sometimes known as "information overload". There is so much information and so many differing opinions that you never even get yourself started. Or, you get started, but never give any particular program a chance, instead going from one to the other, in a "shot gun" approach, never...

Using natural progesterone and osteoporosis was successfully treated? Is it possible? After all, natural progesterone is safe with virtually no side effects when used correctly. It is one of the two primary hormones produced in a healthy woman during the menstrual cycle, the other hormone being estrogen. In perhaps the only study of natural progesterone and osteoporosis treatment of its kind, the success obtained by a leading Harvard-trained physician for reversing osteoporosis in women is explained. What is osteoporosis? Osteoporosis is a progressive disease where the bones become more porous and weaker over time. Untreated, osteoporosis will weaken, disable and...

Do you ever feel like you are working out so hard and nothing seems to happen. You can’t seem to lose that last few pounds, increase that bench press or tighten up those triceps. Why?  Why do doctors only recommend that you take antibiotics for a short period of time? The only are affective for a short while because the body builds up an immune system to them. One of the...

For those of you trying to stay in shape or shed a few pounds (who isn't?) there are tons of resources. Perhaps you think there's nothing better than outdoor sports to burn up the calories as you feel those wonderful endorphins kicking in. But what if it's winter and you're snowbound? What if you live, as I do, in the Southeast, where it seems that it's either too hot and humid for outdoor exertion, or it's pouring rain. Your next best alternative may be an indoor regimen. Gyms, however, are expensive, and crowded - and, annoyingly for those of us...
